Carrie Mae MaGrann, DVM

Dr. MaGrann joined Western Shore Veterinary team in the fall of 2025. She received her biology undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College where she also was a member of the field hockey team. After college, she spent several years working as a veterinary assistant and volunteering at zoos in Hawaii and Philadelphia. Dr. MaGrann then graduated from veterinary school with highest honors from Ross University, finishing her clinical year at North Carolina State University.  She worked for seven years at a small animal and exotic practice in Wilmington, NC where she met her fiancé, Blake, an active-duty Marine. They have since moved with their rescue hound Jameson to Monterey, CA and now to Annapolis, MD.

Dr. MaGrann loves getting to know her patients and their families, working together finding the best solution for each individual.  She is detail oriented and loves keeping up with the latest research and medical options available. Dr. MaGrann has also been Fear-Free certified and loves to make sure her patients are as comfortable as possible every step of the way.
