Holly Mazzurco, VMD

Caring for animals has always been a part of Dr. Holly Mazzurco’s life. Growing up, her family had the best Jack Russell Terrier named Phoenix and they also had several horses and cats. Caring for a sick stray barn kitten was really what propelled her into veterinary medicine.

Being a native of Pennsylvania, she attended the University of Pennsylvania to obtain her veterinary degree. This is where she developed a strong interest in shelter and emergency medicine. She went on to complete a rotating veterinary internship at the Regional Veterinary Referral Center in Springfield, VA. Since then, she has worked in local emergency and general practice animal hospitals. Her professional interests include surgery and emergency cases. She is very excited to join the team at WSVH!

Outside of work she enjoys traveling and playing board games. But most importantly, she loves spending time with her family and their two pets, a black Labrador named Yang, and their cat named Saphira.
